Investing in Sustainable Infrastructure

BioLith Enterprises (BLE) is developing a new generation of infrastructure products manufactured from agricultural residues sourced from the Canadian Prairies.

Through our SeaBrick™ and LithoBrick™ platforms, BLE is creating low-carbon alternatives to conventional concrete, steel and plastics for marine, agricultural, environmental and construction applications.

Supported by proprietary patent-pending technologies, strategic partnerships and a growing pipeline of development opportunities, BLE is positioned at the intersection of the circular bioeconomy, climate resilience and sustainable infrastructure.

Why BLE?

Large Market Opportunity

BLE's technology platform addresses multiple infrastructure sectors including marine infrastructure, aquaculture, floating solar, erosion control, agriculture, landscaping, municipal infrastructure and sustainable construction materials.

Proprietary Technology

Our patent-pending technologies combine advanced modular geometries, integrated connection systems and a proprietary bio-lithification process designed to improve durability, reduce installation costs and enable deployment in remote and challenging environments.

Sustainable Feedstocks

BLE transforms underutilised agricultural residues into durable infrastructure products, creating value from Prairie biomass resources while supporting long-term decarbonisation objectives.

Commercial Development Pathway

BLE represents the commercialisation pathway for technologies developed through the SeaBrick Society, a Canadian not-for-profit organisation led by BLE Chief Technology Officer John Richardson.

Over several years, the SeaBrick Society has advanced the development of modular marine and land-based infrastructure technologies focused on sustainability, climate resilience and community applications. BioLith Enterprises has been established to commercialise these technologies and bring them to market through strategic partnerships, product deployment and future manufacturing operations.

Strategic Development

BLE is currently advancing a proposed marine demonstration project through Canada's Ocean Supercluster Indigenous Coastal Innovation Challenge (ICIC) programme. If successful, the project will provide an important opportunity to validate SeaBrick™ technology in real-world coastal environments and accelerate commercial adoption.

Leadership Team

BioLith Enterprises combines technology innovation, commercialisation expertise and direct access to Canadian agricultural residue supply chains.

John Richardson – Chief Technology Officer

John Richardson is the inventor and technical architect behind the SeaBrick™ and LithoBrick™ platforms. Through his leadership of the SeaBrick Society, he has overseen the development of the underlying technologies, including the modular geometries, connection systems and bio-lithification processes that form the foundation of the intellectual property portfolio.

As CTO, John leads product design, technical development, validation activities and future technology innovation.

MatT Goodwin – Chief Executive Officer

Matt Goodwin is a senior executive with nearly two decades of experience in the international biomass, bioenergy and biomaterials sectors. His career has focused on the development, financing and commercialisation of bio-based industrial projects and new product platforms across Europe and North America.

Matt also serves as Director for Prairie Clean Enterprises (PCE), a Canadian processor of agricultural residues and natural fibres that is helping build new value-added markets for Prairie biomass resources. This experience provides BLE with valuable insight into feedstock supply chains, industrial scale-up and market development.

As CEO, Matt leads corporate strategy, financing, partnerships and commercial deployment activities.

Investment & Strategic Partnership Opportunities

BLE welcomes discussions with strategic investors, venture capital funds, family offices, corporate partners, infrastructure developers, Indigenous economic development organisations and institutional funding partners.

We are particularly interested in relationships that can support technology validation, manufacturing scale-up, market development and commercial deployment.
